The 4CM has a relatively narrow tip opening of 1.05mm and a longer 21mm facing length. It has a wonderful round core sound, particularly at lower dynamics and is capable of some brightness when needed, although I would suggest it is more suited to chamber music and small ensemble playing than symphonic and concerto work.
This example is in fantastic as-new condition and has never seen a ligature or reed.
